New Delhi. In May, the consumers of LPG cylinder have suffered a second setback. Domestic cylinder has become expensive once again. At the same time, the prices of commercial cylinders have also increased from today i.e. 19th May 2022. Domestic cylinder prices have increased for the second time this month. 50 was increased for the first time on 7th May and even today the price of domestic LPG gas cylinder has been increased.

Along with petrol and diesel, the people suffering due to the cost of food and drink are also troubled by the rising price of LPG. Just on May 7, the domestic LPG cylinder became costlier by Rs 50. Due to this, the price of LPG cylinder has crossed Rs 1000 in most cities of the country, but Delhi was left behind. Today, when the rate of domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 3 50 paise, then this gap was erased. Now the domestic LPG cylinder in the whole country is beyond 1000. In the last one year, the domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has gone from Rs 809 to Rs 1003. From today, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi and Mumbai for Rs.1003 and in Kolkata for Rs.1029 and in Chennai for Rs.1018.5.

Commercial cylinder too expensive
On May 7, due to the change in the rate of LPG, where domestic cylinder became costlier by Rs 50, 19 kg commercial cylinder became cheaper by about Rs 10. Today its rate has been increased by Rs. Now a 19 kg cylinder is being sold for 2354 in Delhi, 2454 in Kolkata, 2306 in Mumbai and 2507 in Chennai.

On May 1, it had increased by about Rs 100. At the same time, in March, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder was only Rs 2012 in Delhi. On 1 April it rose to 2253 and on 1 May it rose to Rs 2355. In the last one year, the rate of commercial cylinder has increased by Rs 750.
